So this is how much of a nerd I am.
I’m actually excited to do a school project.
It’s a group thing, since I actually only know Eva and Chelsea in that class, they’re my group.
Seven groups have to put together a short breed portfolio for the categories of dog.
We’ve each got to do two dog breed profiles and one cat.
Eva picked the herding dogs… I would have gone non-sporting(English Bulldog for life yo) but she’s so excited to do the stupid Sheltie it’s absurd.
So she wins.
The binder isn’t due for three weeks but I’m already starting my research.
It’s kind of a toss up between a few cats and the two dogs that I want to look into.
I was thinking that Rachel (our teacher) has to read all these, which is why it’s no more than a two page basic outline per breed I suppose.
But I’ll bet that a lot of people from semester to semester pick the same breeds, or at leas the ones that are popular at the time.
So I’m looking into something more unusual.
I’m for sure going to pick the Puli for one.
That’s the dreadlock dog.
Not sure about the other one yet…
The cat is either a Tonkinese or and Oriental Short hair.
Tonks because they’re so sweet and the other because they look a little bit like they might be from outer space.
I’ll post pictures of the breeds and such later.
As well as some from my evening of hanging out with Valerie.
Though I’d rather not as I look horrid.
But it’ll make her happy.
So I’ll do that when I get home.
For now though, I’m off to catch the bus.
Hopefully it won’t take too long to get through traffic today.
I almost forgot… well that’s kind of a lie.
I almost forgot to mention (there that’s better) the fact that Pete has been texting me a lot since Sunday.
I’m going to stay over with him on Friday.
He’s even offered to give me a ride to work if I need one Saturday.
The fact that he’s repeated himself about four times, telling me to make sure that I bring my work clothes, is kind of cute.
He’s nervous.
The silly boy.
