| Seven Things I Think
1) I need sleep.
2) Wow... I have a really cute baby... and she's a good baby too... how did I get this lucky?
3) I have the strangest feeling that Elora is going to be a leash kid. She seems to have inherited my impulse control. And then there's the whole no fear thing... yeah leash kid.
4) Baby is asleep? Screw eating something. I'm taking a nap.
5) I only have (x) hours left. Then I can leave work and go home and get snuggles.
6) Someone took an extra dose of stupid today.
7) Why did I come over here/into this room? Wtf was I doing again?
Just a little side note
#'s 1, 4 and 7 are something a lot of moms I know probably think.
#3 I never thought I'd ever think about my kid. But then I look at how Elora dives headlong into everything. Literally. If she wants something she'll look at it and either make a beeline straight at the thing, or she will dive head first in that direction. Then I remember how many times my mom and dad had to yell to keep me from running into the street. And my thoughts drift towards a leash... lol I guess we'll see what happens when she gets older.
