I don't know if anyone's been paying attention...
But in my last entry I was being kind of lame and whiney about how I wish I could see Pete, because he makes me feel so much better about everything.
Reminds me that someday, I'll have a grown up job, with things to look forward to.
My stupid phone went dead while I was at work today.
I had a funny feeling.
So I plugged it in as soon as I got in the car and resumed the slightly pointless conversation I was having with Berta.
About rats and animals and how we were both bored and needed more interesting lives.
Once my phone had caught up with the messages that were popping up cause it had been dead for three hours, I looked and saw a text that wasn’t from Berta.
Guess who it was from.
Guess who I’m hanging out with tomorrow night after work.
The Universe and my not a boyfriend idiot sure have excellent timing.
