what a lovely day. i went from winter jacket, to cardigan, to tshirt outside. josh and i ran some errands this morning. we didn't come home with anything we went for, but i bought a cute denim skirt at gap for $6, and we got a tiny $20 dvd player to replace the humongous one in our bedroom. it's basically hidden behind our tv, so we have more dresser-top space, and it looks great.
i booked our hotel for my birthday dealie first thing this morning, so that is definitely a go. well, actually, we can still back out, with no financial penalty right until the day of the reservation, but we won't. i reserved a king room with stadium view, so josh and i will spend the night, and our other friends can come and go for the game/hanging out/drinking/whatever. thus far i've invited zach, caitlin, andrew, matt, tara, lauren, sarah, christopher, and michelle. at this point, i'm going to guess maybe about an 80% attendance rate, which i'm happy with. i'm way too excited about this whole thing.
i think i'm going to start reading the art of fielding this afternoon. word is i won't be able to put it down. i'm okay with that. |
