i took today off, just for shits. that meant i had a two day work week, which was awesome. it also meant not setting an alarm this morning, getting up at 9, showering, dressing, and starting into the frozen starwberry daiquiris by 10. oh lord.
the weather was gorgeous, thankfully, and josh and i headed down to the lake. we hung out on the patio, playing poker [which i did better at than i expected to, especially considering that i was pretty hammed], then took the new seadoo across the bay to visit family friends. we decided to come back into town around 5, and couldn't have had better timing, as the clouds rolled in behind us and it pissed rain for a while.
tonight's stanley cup final necessitated pizza and the 52" lcd in josh's basement. hell yeah.
oh! my special delivery arrived today. i can't wait to play with my new toys!
