the next week is set to be pretty great.
tomorrow is my last day of work for a week, that's always good.
thursday i'll drive to winnipeg, with or without josh [yet to be determined], do a little shopping [for my go-see?], get my eyebrows threaded, have dinner with rachel, then pick deanne up at the airport. her flight comes in at 8 [i believe] then it'll be off to kenora for sleeps.
dee's here thursday night thru monday morning. we don't really have plans, other than drinking, gossiping, and [if the weather co-operates] soaking up the sun at the lake.
monday, we'll drive back to winnipeg for our flights. dee flies to hamilton at 2:30, and my flight to toronto is at 6. i guess i'll do some shopping or grab lupper between her flight and mine.
i arrive at pearson at 9:18 pm. i'll grab a cab [on the clinic's expense account!] and head to zuber's. after trying to get in touch with him for a few days, he texted me last night: "hey fool... i have monday off, you're welcome to stay. you're also welcome to come to a jays game tuesday with a big group of my college friends". wunderbar. solo + group hangouts with zuber, ftw!
tuesday, i'm due at the clinic for 10:30. i'll meet with glenn and check the place out. lunch will be arranged. we'll also go to another of his clinics, where i'll meet the their head mammo tech. i was told to expect 3-4 hours for the whole ordeal.
the rest of tuesday is mine. i might see christopher or michelle before i go to the ball game, but i'm not holding my breath. wednesday i'll leave zuber's just before lunch and cab it back to the airport. my flight back is at 1:20, getting me back into winnipeg around 2:30.
i've got dee's room 95% ready. i have to go give the bathroom a final scrub-down now, and tomorrow i'll get groceries and liquor. bring on the awesome! |
