bullets, because i'm an asshole:
- andrew came over for dinner thursday night. chili nachos, clone high, cuddling, etc. we're more like we were than ever before. it was a really great night.
- my mom came down for the weekend. we had a great day shopping yesterday, followed by a great "dinner" of appies and cocktails. i hadn't had a drink in 8+ weeks, so that was fun.
- mom and i went to the lion king last night. the opening number alone was worth the ticket price.
- after postponing due to weather last sunday, our enegagement photos are a go at 4:00 today. we're getting ready now. the weather is perfect: blue skies, wispy white clouds, hot but not humid, with a perfect breeze. i could not have asked for more.
- it's week 8 of my diet, and i'm down 17 lbs. 20 is my first goal, so i'm on track. considering that i haven't been working out nearly as much as i should, and i've been cheating all over the place, i'm pretty impressed. of course, i would be happier if i had hit my 20 lbs goal by now but i have no one to blame but myself. i'll get there, i know i will.
