you guys, i have a wedding dress!!!
it is not yet in my possession, but i've decided on one. i love it!
it's a wrap-strap dress, like my short teal one, but it's long and ivory. i'm just so happy.
the only "issue" is size b vs. size c. size b fits, tho i'd prefer to compare to c (their plus size), which they don't make at the moment, but are considering manufacturing in the fall. so! i've got size b on hold, and if/when they make the long dress in size c, they'll call me. the decision to make the long plus dress will be made shortly (by summer's end), so i'm not worried about timing. the dress i tried on yesterday fit, but i'd like to compare. i'm right on the border between the two sizes, so we'll see how it goes. one way or another, i'm wearing a henkaa dress.
i'm toying with the idea of giving a sneak peek of the dress, but i don't think i shall. except for certain people, who ought to know who they are [just ask].
so, i have shoes, a dress, and my necklace. now i just need my "crown" [aka headpiece of some sort - likely a blinged out headband]. josh needs clothes [pants + shirt + flipflops]. we need rings. that's it. on zee plane, off we go. well, except for all that crap about guests and invite politics and rsvps and bullshit... |
