it's funny how things change. how they fall into place, or don't.
yesterday morning i interviewed. yesterday evening i had all but decided that i was going to turn the job down if they offered it. timing was the main issue.
today i found a new job posting that interested me. it's a clinic at danforth and main. haha, "the corner with the kfc", according to christopher. i'm sure it will be a step back in equipment, or at least not a step forward. but it'll also be regular hours and no midnight shifts. i decided to apply.
this afternoon, etobicoke general emailed me. they want to check out my references, and my background, and told me that the position will be for "approximately one year". so just like that, i'm back to considering it, because a year could be worth my while.
i'm going to fax etobicoke the info they asked for, and i also just (semi-drunkenly??) applied for the clinic.
again, it's more wait and see. |
