Product: China Glaze Nail Polishes
Cost: $5.99 at Sally's, but $3.25 or so with a Sally's card
Rating: 3 1/2 stars
I only recently got really into nail polishes. For the longest time I would only use light purple and then I just stopped wearing it altogether. After stopping by Sally's one night, though, that changed. I discovered China Glaze. Now, before I say anything more I want you all to know that I do like this brand. There is one thing that could be improved, though.
They have an excellent selection of colors. There is definitely something for everyone, plus you can experiment with colors you've never worn before. I picked up "Your Touch," which is a coppery color thinking I wouldn't really like it, but that's not at all what I discovered. It's one of the most gorgeous colors ever!! The colors also have pretty good coverage. I usually only need to apply 2 coats of polish.
Despite this there is one thing that I don't like about these polishes. They chip really fast! I use a top coat and it actually chipped faster than if I don't use my top coat. One girl on Youtube said that she uses a Revlon top coat that worked really well for her (her polish didn't chip for an entire week!!). I also know that China Glaze has their own top coat.
I will definitely buy some new top coat nail polishes and let you all know what my results are.
Also, the color in the picture is called "For Audrey," and it is as close to the color for Tiffany & Co as you can get, really, because they trademarked their famous blue color. |
