This week the Taliban released one of our prisoners of war. At first like every American I was glad to hear about this development, however as time went on it became apparent that this release came at a cost as we through the Obama Administration agreed to release 5 prisoners from Gitmo. Say Again, are we now negotiating with known terrorist?
James Carney tries to lighting the impact by saying that they have no concerns about the dangers of the 5 being released. Really, then why were they still being held until this violation of policy in negotiating with terrorist?
