Alpha Phi, potlucks, and life...

so it's been a couple of days.. but nothing interesting has happened. ha. i've just been trying to get some grad school apps done and i've been working out.

sunday i went to the orientation for Aerie and it was fine.. they squeezed me into the schedule for Thursday (woohoo making some money)... but that's it for this week. & next week i dunno.. hopefully i'll be working mon-wed and then wed night Vito flies in!! & we are heading to . gah i can't wait to be in a cabin in the mountains with my family and boyfriend! Loveee. It will hopefully be so awesome, relaxing, and fab. We are going to see the new Harry Potter movie (i know...almost a week later than everyone else :/.. but i wanted to wait for Vito and my sister and see it with them). We are also going to the Ripley's Aquarium! I've been there once before and it was pretty amazing. I'm just excited to get away from home for a couple days.. and spend some time with my boyfriend. I even have a countdown going... 1 week!!

In college I joined Alpha Phi.. which is an international social sorority. After graduating I became an Alumna, and didn't think that Nashville had an Alumnae chapter. It turns out that they are trying to get it up and running again, and the kickoff even is tomorrow! There is also a group of Alpha Phi ladies closer to where I live who are getting together tonight and I am going to that as well. The one tonight is a potluck (yumm i love potlucks) and I am bringing baked mac&cheese. Then tomorrow night I am bringing these cookie/brownie bars (their like brownies and cookies mixed together... again i say yumm). I'm really excited to meet some alpha phi ladies in my hometown!

welll i'm going to go bother my mom and figure out how to make the mac&cheese (since it's her recipe).
