Soo i've been meaning to write about my fabulous Thanksgiving.. but just haven't felt like it. Gatlinburg was gorgeous! We were in the cabin at the top of this mountain... literally. It took us 10 minutes to get to and from our cabin..and we had to go up and down these tiny, winding roads. It was pretty much the best thing ever. When I remember how to post pictures.. I'll be sure to post a couple. Anyway, seeing my boyfriend was the best. I loved spending time with him and my family.. we just hung out, ate lots of food, went shopping, went to the aquarium (AWESOME), and saw Harry Potter 7: Deathly Hallows P1. (ALSO AWESOME). It was a good, much needed break.
Now I'm just trying to get in the Christmas spirit. Usually I am so excited for Christmas, I still am this year, but I'm in kindof a funk. I guess usually I have school.. so having Christmas break is what makes it so exciting. This year I just have to make it more exciting i guess. My sister is driving back from school today so we can go get our tree. It's a family tradition. We always get a real tree...always. We go to somewhere (depending if my dad is being cheap or not) sometimes Home Depot (although they have sucky trees) and sometimes those lots where they have the trees lined up. Someday I would just love to do it
Christmas Vacation style and cut down our own. I know they have lots where you can do that. I love picking out our tree it's always so fun. Then of course we get to decorate it AND the house! Woohoo. I love putting up decorations... and i love the lights. BUT the best thing about a real tree is the smell.. it has that pine scent that makes it smell like Christmas. I'm just excited.. can't you tell??
Well I don't really feel like saying much more today.. maybe some more updates tomorrow.
