MERRY CHRISTMAS! It's 1 in the am here.. and officially Christmas! woot! however it is still Christmas Eve for me..i am about to head to bed but i just wanted to give a little update!

I had to work this morning.. yup... i feel that this is the last time that I will be working in retail during the holidays. ugh. its terrible.. but i am making good money. I got a $300+ check today so I can now pay for my grad school applications and buy plane tickets to Chicago for February.

After work I went to the Christmas Eve service at church... i looove it. They always do a candlelight Christmas Eve service and it is so beautiful and it always puts the meaning of the season front and center. I am soooo blessed to have my family and friends and a pretty good life. <3 Thank you Jesus.

My family has a Christmas Eve family tradition where we come home from church, put on our Christmas pjs, and we pop in Christmas Vacation. All of us can quote it word for word..and it's been a tradition for years.

I am sooo excited for the morning!! I remember being a little kid and making myself go to sleep because then santa would come and before I know it morning would come and I would sneak to the tree to see all the presents. My parents have been so awesome.. even when we couldn't afford much they always found a way to get us presents and make it special for my sis and I. BUT even though I'm 22 i still love waking up and walking downstairs and seeing all the presents under the tree.. ahhh! Most of all I love spending the day with my fam.. it's fun just enjoying each others company and eating good food. everything else is just a plus!
