i realized it has been a couple days since i've entrytized...
soo here is one big update... I GOT A JOB!! woohoo.. it's a part time retail position.. which is okay. I will be making money.. which is important but I wont be driving myself crazy trying to work and apply to grad school and trying to visit those grad schools. So it's kind of exciting! I start on Saturday! The good news is that since it is part time i can still babysit on thursdays and saturdays.. so I'll be making money there too. woohoo for paying off loans and saving up for grad school.
grad school.. thats the other thorn in my butt. i take the GRE on wednesday. and for anyone who hasn't taken the Graduate Record Examination ... it is a hell test. it doesn't test anything except for your ability to work around the tricks that ETS (the company that makes the exam) puts in place. it has nothing to do with whether i will make a good speech pathologist or how my clinical skills are. it is one word: pointless! but it will all be over with on wednesday! taking it once sucks.. taking it twice is complete torture.
well enough rants about the GRE and such.
I get to see my wonderful boyfriend in a couple of weeks!! My family got a cottage in Gatlinburg for Thanksgiving and Vito is flying in! I haven't seen him in almost a month.. and it is horrible! We met in college and when we first started dating we were inseparable. The longest we've ever spent away from each other (before this year) was only a couple of weeks or so that we had off during the summer. One of us would always fly in for a week to visit to make the long distance work. We've had our ups and downs but I am completely sure that I want to marry this man. We've been together for a little over 3 years and he is my match for sure. It really stinks being away from him so long.. I text more than I ever have and we use i chat a lot! i guess the saying "absence makes the heart grow fonder" is true...we really cherish the time we spend together because we only get to see each other every month or two.
hmmm.. i guess the main point of all that is that i miss him.
well.. i find out what my score on the GRE is on Wednesday after taking the test... so i'm sure i'll update y'all about that.
