Today, I make my stand. I'm talking about finally shutting out all the "negatives" in my past and present. I'm done trying to convince "people" that MY WORLD is exactly that...MY WORLD.
Like I've said before, The people I want in my life are the people I actually talk to, the people I actually care about. The certain people that I'm calling my "negatives" I hope you read this, because this is it. I'm forgetting about you. I'm done trying to be your friend, I'm done being that boy that keeps coming to Hamilton to visit his friends and ends up hanging out with you instead. I'm done being the life of your parties, I'm done protecting you, I'm done fighting you, I'm done with your drugs, your alcohol, your drama, your lives, your families, and most of all..... I'm done with you.
The people that I'm not cutting out of my life know who they are. The real friends, the real familia that I know. The people that have never stabbed me in the back, that have never spread petty rumors about me... These people will stay in my life for a very very long time.
I'll protect them, more than I've ever protected my "negatives". I'll argue with them, more than I've argued with my "negatives". Why?, Because these are the people I love enough to keep in my life. The people I feel deserve my presence. The same people THAT GIVE ME MY MOTIVATION TO LIVE EACH DAY LIKE ITS MY DAY TO SHINE!!! |
