You showed me who I can be,
You helped me through my darkness,You believed in me when no one else did,
Without being asked you took me in and showed me what family is,We looked after each other,
Now you’re gone you’re are not suffering,
I love you much,
I’ll always remember what you have done for me,The sunshine you brought in to my life,
Because of you I found love,Because of you being strict and your values of life you have shown me who I am today,
I am your granddaughter,You are my rock still and always will be,
I am going to miss our visits and our phone calls, but I’ll still visit you.I promise to keep making you proud and live by your values to show everybody what you have achieved in your last two years. Now it’s time to say good bye,I’ll see you later.I love you Granddad forever and always.I wrote this poem the day after my Granddad died. To read at his funeral everybody was so proud of me when I read it out because it came from my heart and I read and everyone understood what I said which was very hard as I was very close to myh Granddad he took me in he saved my life.He was the only person who understood me other than my partner. I miss my Granddad everyday. After my Granddad died I tired to kill mry self as that how I cope My Mental illness is a pain. ♥ Love Tarsha ♥ R.I.P.
