I don't usually make religious statements. Well except for the occasional OMG or JC but I think that mostly stems from not offending people or getting into a long debate that could lead to books or youtube videos about it and blah, blah BLAH. I am not an Athiest. I think it's silly to even have a group of people with a title who don't believe in anything. If you are a Christian, please do not be upset that I am not. I have been to church. I was in a choir for 7 years. Loved it. Christianity isn't bad, and I can see why people would like it. It has done a lot of good for many people. But so has Judism and Bhuddism and so forth and so on. Just the faith that people can carry around in their hearts for these beliefs, are enough to give them gumption to get through what they think is a rough time. I respect that. I am not a bad person.

People seperate things too much for me. They have to draw lines. I read a quote today that said "when the game of chess is over, the king and the pawn go back into the same box." When we die we all end up dead. Buried in the same earth we came from. If you believe that God made people out of dirt, than what makes us not dirt now? Putting labels on things. Well one mans trash is another mans treasure in my case I suppose. Everything is the treasure. Why can't we just be happy? Why must we place our faith in something else for our lives to work?
There are a lot of cheesy quotes I know, but get ready for another one. Misery loves company. I don't think they would have these catchy little euphemisms if they didn't ring true from time to time. People have no idea the power they wield. They could change everything in thier lives right now if they wanted to. Yes. You can. I am NOT saying that you need to quit your job or move to Bangladesh, all I am saying is that if you Reeeeeally think about it, you have the control. You are not a victim. You can be a warrior. Grab that bull by the horns.
You can change someone else's day with a comment, a hug, a thumb up on facebook. But what about your own? Giving yourself hugs in public is not for everyone. But if that's not your thing, try complimenting yourself. Don't blow smoke up your own ass, either. Just learn who you are and know your faults. When you find good things in you, grow them. Stay conscious of yourself. You can control it. Why not? You really need Jesus to tell you that having an affair is wrong? That killing someone is a no-no? I really thought that was common sense.
I do believe in a higher power. But that higher power is not only all around us, it is also inside of us. It is us. We are it. All of it. Everything. And nothing. Dust in the wind. If you lose your cell phone, life goes on. If you break your leg, life goes on. If you die, life goes on. But if you strive to make the best choices for yourself and lead by example, there could be a chain reaction. Just like misery. Except the opposite.
Respect, respect, respect. Have respect for yourself. Be honest. It is so hard to keep up with lies because we have to remember extra details and keep them in order. Tell the truth. Why not? You can never again say to yourself that you are hiding something. What a relief that would be. And that is it so far. I have many thoughts on the subject and don't mind any input.
