Pebbles turning over her thrown to Max???

It's 2:30AM already and I have to get up in like 2 and a half hours to take Dan to the gym... But I'm not sleepy so I'll do one more post then try to go to bed.

Pebbles is being sooo good with Max!! She's always been the alpha female of the house, whatever she says goes. But so far she has not put Max in his place at all.. she's growled and snapped a little bit at him but nothing to really say "Listen buddy - you don't do that!" He was trying to play with her earlier before Dan went to bed and we both thought for sure she'd put him in his place but she didn't.. We wonder if that's cause she knows he's a puppy? Or maybe Pebbles is just getting old and she's turning over her power to him? Max is already a little bigger than she is but not by much, I don't think that'd have anything to do with it cause she puts PEOPLE in their place lol and says HEY I'm the girl here, not you! .. she still does it to me sometimes when I'm kissing or hugging on Dan, she'll start growling or barking. And if we're laying down and we don't kick her out and shut the door, she'll get right inbetween us and try to make it a 3 way kiss or wiggle her way in so him and I can't kiss or be tooooo close. I dunno.
