Pool Filter + Cell Phone = Awesome. by mae

Toss the phone into dry rice for a few days...supposed to pull all the moisture out! Heard it works!

I know when you drop phones in water, you're not supposed to try using it right away. You're supposed to let it dry out so that the circuits in the phone don't short out.

Hopefully it works after it dries.

I dropped my blackberry in the sink and immediately took the battery off and popped it into a bag of dry rice...2 days later it was working fine! Good luck!

... My ex's mother was notorious for washing and drying cell phones, i-pods, etc. They all worked in the end, I have faith haha

Take the battery out and put the phone in a bag of dry rice. It'll take the moisture out and it will work again until you can get another phone.
