So the bus strike here has entered week 2
neither the city leaders nor the union seem to give a flying fuck about the people who are fucked over because of this!!
i'm outraged for the people who can't get to work, who are wasting money and time dealing with this crap....and i'm outraged because my elected leaders don't seem to give a fuck about any of us.
and i'm stuck in....true i'm lucky i live within walking distance of everything essential, and that's good. but i can't do the things i *want* to do, i can't go downtown and Christmas shop, which while it can be annoying with the masses of people (who are often inconsiderate) i still enjoy looking around and finding things i know the people i care about will like.
and i'm done school, this is the time i was looking forward to relaxing.......seeing more of my friends without the constant drumbeat of stress in the back of my head---this assignment is due tomorrow, got a test next week--- and there are some people i've not had the chance to see as much of since school started that i was really looking forward to hanging out with.
and i enjoy going out into the world, seeing people doing things, gaming all that stuff...and now i'm stuck at home, can't see my friends...it's driving me bat-shit crazy!
i hope Larry O'Brien and Frenchie McAsshole (the union head) get tossed into a woodchipper, feet first!
