i've been sort of putting off my YIR entry....truthfully i think it's because i'm perhaps a little overwhelmed by the prospect.
a great deal happened this past year and when i look at where i am now, it's not even close to where i imagined i'd be a year ago.
still over all i'm better and happier for it, so for that i'm grateful.
T'wards the end of '07 i ran into Jen....and it really set the stage for 2008, as much running into her a few weeks ago may set the stage for '09, but we'll see about that
anyways, i ran into her....and it gave me a chance to let go...and move on. To truly start the new year (2008) a fresh and tackle it with a fresh outlook.
Yet, other than that rather strange run-in with Jennifer, and a truly odd conversation, 2007 ended quietly and 2008 began with little fanfare.
January happened pretty simply worked.....hated my job and got laid off/semi-fired.....
But a couple of cool things happened....i ran into Alex (also at chapters) and she told me about the Shadow Consortium a truly interesting semi-pagan discussion group, that i attended for a bit.
And i was introduced to Claire...a truly interesting gal....our friendship started out perhaps a bit shaky but it's grown to be an important one to me.
and at the end of January Ezipin let me go....*shrug* such it goes...... oh and i stared running the leagues for the OWC and had some fun doing that...it's been tough and i could probably stand to do it better, but i've managed.
Feburary and March ran pretty dead-like much the same, going for job interviews not getting the jobs...worrying about money....and being stressed.
coffee with Claire and Angela, gaming with the fellas.....and being pretty miserable.
i was pretty crappy back then, though i had resolved to start studying the Runes again in earnest and i did so, finally completing the entire Futhark.
and things were about to shift because a certain jerk-faced kitten fucker was about to give me an idea.......
