So who am I?

I am another OD deserter. I will still try to update there occasionally but they are so unreliable lately. I have invested 6 years of writing in OD so hopefully I can get my entries off of it.

My name is Michelle. I am 23 years old and the mother of 2 beautiful girls. My oldest daughter is Genna (Genevieve) and she will be 4 in December. My 17 month old, Evelynn, is a precious miracle. She was born in May of 2009 with a birth defect called a congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH). Basically it is a hole in the diaphragm with allows the intestines or stomach to move up into the chest cavity so that the lungs cant grow. Her left lung was almost non existent at birth. She underwent surgery and recovered well. She will always be more susceptible to respiratory problems. Sometimes I mention it because Evie being sick at birth, still plays a pretty prevalent role in our lives.

So what else should I say about me and my family? My husband and I wed in April of 2006 and couldnt be happier. Of course, we have our ups and downs and have sought counseling but overall, we love eachother and love our life together.

I live in the desert of CA. I grew up on the coast so this isnt the ideal place for me but this is where my husband found a job after fulfilling his time with the Air Force. So here we are, making the best of life and trying to live life to the fullest everyday.

We love God and try to put him at the center of everything in our lives <3
