It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...won't you be my neighbor?

I feel SO refreshed today. I'm totally ready to take on what the day has in store for me. Haha. The sun is shining bright outside, despite the obvious cold weather, but I don't think that's gonna stop me from being happy like I am. 

So my mom was off work yesterday, and gave me the okay to take a nap while she kept Trystan entertained and such. So I went for a nap and slept for about 3 and a half hours while she baked brownies and cinnamon buns with the boy. When I woke up, it was just about time to put him to bed for the night. My mom told me afterwards that if I hadn't woken up, she would have let me continue sleeping. Oh well. Haha. I ended up going back to bed at about 1:00 in the morning anyway. 

Trystan woke up at 6:30 today, but came into the room and crawled into bed with me where he passed out again until 8:30. He's in a relatively good mood. At least, for now, until we go to the doctors to get our flu shots. I think after that ordeal, he'll probably hate me for a period of time. Well, until we're on the bus going home anyway...LoL. It never lasts long. But then again, he's 3 and a half. So that's to be expected. 

As for the rest of the day, who knows what it will hold. Depending on Trystan's mood later perhaps I will take him out to play in the snow. There's like 2 or 3 parks within walking distance of my place so maybe we'll pick one and go. Haha. Who knows? 

Anywho, I'm out of here. Gotta get ready to go to the docs soon.
