I can't believe in 12 days my little girl will be 3 yrs old!! It seems just like yesterday I was just bringing her home from the hospital. She has come a long way, she was diagnosed with cromes 22 deletion. Cromes 22 deletion is where a piece of one of her genes is missing and it effects her learning and her motor skills. I had to put her in physical therapy when she was one yrs old because she was not able to sit up on her own or stand at age one. We did a year of physical therapy and by her second birthday she was running and walking up stairs. Then this year we had to put her in speech therapy to help her with talking and learning. She has done really good and today is actually her last day of speech. I'm so proud of her and what she has accomplished since she was one. I don't think she needs anymore assistance with anything else at the moment but it might change when she starts school. On the 15th she will be 3 and I still haven't gotten around to plan the party lol. I better get a move on it! You don't realize how fast they grow up until another birthday comes around.  She told me she want's to have a Minnie mouse theme for her party. I will be posting pics of her party so keep an eye out for them! |
