Hello again, NoJoMoers! I'm going to try to get the prompts posted quite early, to allow for different timezones.
It's fantastic to see lots of people doing NoJoMo - there have been some very creative answers to the prompts, as well as lots of people writing about their own ideas.
Just to reiterate (as a couple of people asked about this) the prompts are not compulsory. You can be added to the list and write about completely unrelated things. Or you can take a prompt and do something completely different with it. The prompts are simply there as a tool you can take or leave, as some people like to have some ideas to inspire their writing. And if you don't like any of the prompts for one day, you can take a prompt from a previous day. Be as flexible as you like - the point is simply to write a journal entry every day in November.
Also, please feel free to submit your own prompts - if you want different sorts of prompts from those posted here, then create some yourself, message them here, and I'll post them. While I'm happy to create all the prompts myself, realistically it's unlikely that my prompts that suit everyone on Bloop - there's quite a mix of very different people here! So if a few other Bloopers create some prompts too, there's more likelihood of different tastes being catered for.
I've noticed that quite a few Bloopers who haven't posted here are also doing NoJoMo. I've added them to the faves list anyway, so that there is a comprehensive list of all the Bloopers doing NoJoMo. If for any reason you don't want to be on the list, let me know and I'll remove you. Similarly, if you're doing NoJoMo and have somehow been missed off the list and want to be added, please also let me know, and I'll add you. Obviously if your diary is FO, I won't be able to add you unless you give me temporary access.
Here are today's prompts...
2nd November - NoJoMo Prompts
1. You are given the chance to have your face and body changed into whatever you choose - by magic, not by surgery, so no scars! You can change your skin, for instance, so it's clear with no blemishes, you can change your nose into a different shape, you can change your colouring, the thickness and texture of your hair, the size of your body, your muscle tone, the shape of your ankles, etc. You can even be changed into a different species! You can make whatever changes you like - just remember the changes are permanent. What changes will you make - if any - and why? Once all these changes have happened, what difference will this make to your life? Will you do anything new, or differently from how you did it before?
2. Describe a day in the life of you - but with a twist. Imagine a ten year old child, who doesn't know you, observes you throughout the day. Write about your day from the child's perspective - imagine you're the child and describe this person you see, and what they do, and what you think of them.
3. When and why did you first join Bloop? How has Bloop changed since then. How have you changed since then?
By the way, if you want to use a NoJoMo sig, here are some sparkly ones, and here are some non-sparkly ones, made by Sx3.Layouts. If anyone else makes any sigs and wants me to link to them, let me know.
