2 week check up

We had our 2 week check up this morning. Nothing out of the ordinary. She's a whopping ounce larger than her birth weight so we've finally made it to the big 7 pounds!!! Her umbilical cord is still there and the doctor said it still looked pretty attached and if it doesn't fall off in a week then I have to give her a call. *roll eyes* Awesome. Another thing I get to put into my busy schedule.
I tried to make her look cute for her appointment. Her newborn shirts fit fine....it's the pants we have trouble with. Even with a bulky diaper, they don't stay on her butt. The doctor said she was probably going to be petite like me which already isn't that great since I have a hard time finding pants that fit....well I used to. I'm up to a size 4 right now and all I really have are 2s or 0s.
We are heading to the WIC office in the morning and then to the Medicaid so I can get her card fixed. We moved counties right before she was born so it's been a hassle trying to get everything transferred, especially for her since we gave her both of our last names and they tried to tell us that we couldn't do it. What a pain in the butt! I'm still waiting on her social security card to come in. They said it could take 3 weeks or more! Seriously?! Are we having that much of a population boom....I think not.
