I'm tired of

06/15/2010

being the only adult around here
In addition to being woke up at 4 am yesterday...LuLu walked in this morning at 5ish to let me know that her puppies would be coming soon. I'm like alright...no biggie. Well that was when she was in her bed...now she's on the couch, on the only blanket we have and she's totally having her puppies. This is my first birth with a dog so I'm freaking out and I have to call Kevin and he said that she would know what to do and I just have to be there in case she can;t get the sack off the puppy. Well we have one out [[it was gross!]] and another on the way. I read that it can take an hour between births and I have to go to work in a few hours! I'm not sure if i should leave them there or if I should try and move them before I leave.

I'm hungry but someone came in last night and ate my muffins. I'm about to go off on someone. If you don't pay for it, you don't eat it! That rule is clearly stated on the rule list but apparently people don't know how to read. That's all that I have to eat for breakfast and someone ate them! I only had 2 bags. It pisses me off. I would never go into someone else's house and eat their food without asking at least. I mean for real?! You will buy my more muffins.

She'll know what to do. It is gross, but its similar to a human birth!! I would recommend not moving them just yet. And when you do move them, put the blanket they were born on nearby to comfort the mother.

if you touch the puppies too soon the mom may not 'want' them so i would be careful. the mom will know whats going on, and if there is something wrong with a puppy she won't open their sack, they can just tell. she's got it, no worries.
