This weekend John and I did nothing but spend time together. In the next several weeks we're not sure how much of that we're going to have so we just enjoyed each others company. I dragged him around the mall, he kept me focused when grocery shopping, he made me keep walking when we walked by a starbucks. We laughed ridiculously at "Fawty Towers" and "A Bit of Fry and Laurie." We played two back to back games of Scrabble over nibbles and rum and cokes. We just enjoyed being together. And today he helped me accomplish something on my list, we made pasta!

Tomorrow it's back to work and the real world. But it was nice just to spend a weekend in the company of someone who can point and laugh at you with wreckless abandon but who can also wipe away your tears during a movie and ask if he needs to put it in the freezer to make it go away.
