95 Put myself "out there" more
Our first "date night" is tomorrow. We're going to a Live WWE RAW event. What does one wear to an event of that nature I wonder? Our first cultural thing is on Saturday. We're going to a lecture/conversation series on Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He's a German Martyr from World War two is a personal hero of mine and my fathers. I highly recommend his book the cost of discipleship.
During my lunch breaks I'm working through my 2009 LSATS study guide. Which has generated some interesting lunch conversations.
I'm going to start the 2-3 times a week writing excerises this evening.
And I took a step this week in putting myself out there more by starting pole dancing classes.
I'm really hoping to get started on my goal of volunteering but I have to do a bit of research first. And I have to be careful regarding the places I choose to volunteer due to the fact I'm a volunteer coordinator for a non-profit. I want to make sure it's not seen as me not trying to steal volunteers or cause of conflict of interest (example if I suddenly started volunteering for childrens wish...HUGE conflict of interest.) That's why it hasn't been listed as in progress yet.
This list has generated a lot of interesting conversations. At work we're thinking of coming up with a 101 list that is specific to what we do. My boss actually started making her 101 in 1001 list last night. How cool is that? Though apparently she will not blog about it like I do.
