This morning I woke up with a Breathe Right strip stuck to my ass. Lovely.
I also opened my bedroom door and woke up to Daniel passed out on the floor face down, instead of at work. Great. I had to kick him three times to get his ass to wake up. I guess he was vomiting on the way to work today so he called off. He's in bed. I think I have to only man in the history of humanity that isn't a big cry baby when he's sick. Nope, I'm cry baby enough for both of us. So, officially David is the only one who isn't sick. Me and Tyler have colds, I blame it on going to the beach in the rain in October. So worth it though.
Tyler had a pediatricians appointment on Thursday. He got three shots (we are way behind) and I had to discuss his developmental progress with the Doc. The thing about Tyler is, he has always been way behind. He didn't sit up on his own until he was 8 months (supposed to around 4 months), he started crawling also at 8 months (usually start at 6 months) and wasn't walking till he was almost 2 (usually start around 1-1 1/2). And he doesn't really talk. He says Mama, Dada, No, recently learned Grandma, he says uh-oh. But no milk, juice, cup, ba-ba, ball, etc. So I brought it up to the doctor (I also told the doc that his 1/2 sister is developmentally the same and she won't shut up now) and he is really concerned. He said he's isn't convinced that he is delayed in just speech so much as developmentally delayed. He gave me a number for a speech therapist and told me to get him playing with other kids his age. Oh, and the fact that he doesn't acknowledge other kids during play is also a concern.
So, I checked out the website of the speech therapist he gave me and it's for people who are... umm... I don't know how to say this because the phrase has been turned into a common insult, but it shows people who have mental retardation. Which really scared me. I don't think the doctor thinks this is the case with Tyler, but I have a feeling he MAY be leaning towards autism... if speech therapy doesn't help. I'm sure he's fine, and everything's fine, I am probably psyching myself out. It's hard when it comes to your baby, you know? I'll keep you updated.
I have nothing else to write about really. I'm trying to get back into the swing of OD. I read a lot of entries but didn't note. I'm sorry, I should have left blank notes, but if you would have seen my bookmarks you would have understood. Almost the whole thing was bold. It was a mess. If I knew how to take screen shots, I would have taken one. Oh well.
Oh, my Midwife appointment is on the 30th (yay, excited!). Yesterday was my 8 week mark.
Also, I have been having issues with my financial aid. I have attempted to get some IRS paperwork to my school. Well it's 5 pages front and back. The library charged $1 a page to fax, and I did this twice. So the math, 20 bucks. My school kept saying that pages were missing. So I mailed it (I also just went and mailed my copy, stupid!) And they said they never received it. Well, I was about to go on vacation, so I figured I would deal with it when I got back. Well, I got an email saying my financial aid was complete and I was good to go! Finally! This shit was supposed to be done in MAY. So, my Pell will be sent to the school and I'll get about $1000 in excess funds. Which is awesome cause we need a leg up after vacation.
Oh, and I have been researching this presidential shit. I went to ROMNEY'S website, and he actually listed that Pell Grants will be gone and Planned Parenthood and other abortion-supported companies will be gone. So, we will have a bunch of uneducated fucks running around here reproducing because there isn't any low-income BC? Way to go, Romney, way to go. Seriously, my mother is a dipshit for wanting to vote for this asshole. Tring to take up back to the 1950's and shit. I'm gonna vote for Roseanne Barr
