storms
we have had constant storms here for two weeks. they havent been too bad. but tonight they r worse. its storm after storm. hailing like crazy. i stood on the front porch and watched it. the sky is green. they said we r in direct path of the tornados. and u can smell fresh pine in the air. sirens are going off everywhere. a facility for the mental ill right down the street from me got struck by lightining and caught on fire.
they r expecting our dam to break tomorrow. everything is already flooding here. if the dam does break, id hate to see it. theyve told us to get our evacuation plans in order. we dont have an evacuation plan. ive never been a flood. some people have already emptied their houses and left. the man holes are flooding out into the roads. we arent supposed to use water unless we have to.
its scary. but all we can do is just see what tomorrow brings.
