So, we are getting married soon...
I love him, but i'm scared...
but this is not about being scared, this is about wedding nonsense
so, we have not hired a consultant b/c well, we just cant afford that, after you move across the country and buy a home, not too much money left for an extravagant wedding..
so, I'm planning it all.
We are getting married on the farm at home in Ohio, on the pond, after dark.
in theory it's going to be beutiful
lots of lights/candles/tiki torches ect...
we will have a dinner reception/party BEFORE the ceremony which will not happen till 930pm
THEN we will have the ceremony after dark, and a cake reception afterwards
I'm excited about the cake, it's delicious!!
and the catering is delicious too!
We are making all of our own stuff, have made the invitations on our own, and all the thank you's all the everything we have made on our own, it's been a bit random....
We are going to the farm next weekend to kind of finish up the invites to get them sent off.
I need some help with wedding readings, I'm looking for something fun and random and non religious if you have any ideas?? oh, and my fiance' does not like Dr Seus, he thinks' it's over used
well, I guess I'm tired, time for bed

Wedding planning is always stressful. Planning my first wedding was probably the HARDEST thing I've ever done. Your wedding idea (by the pond after dark) sounds lovely.
