So I normally ask my friends questions when I'm stuck on something or just can't make up my mind and expect them to answer me right away. Like, not right away but, like, not ask questions about why I'm asking or give me a whole back story on what they might answer. Or, like, when they're like "well you might be asking for this answer, but you might also mean something different so I don't know."

A couple of days ago, I asked a simple question: Which names sound better together? Caleb and Lonnie, Jonah and Anne, or Jason and Bay? Sounds like a pretty simple question, right? Well, not according to my friends. Nope. Instead of giving me a straight answer on which names they liked best together, they went into a full on story on why they didn't like any of the names, asked me questions about the names, replied with something not even related to the question, or came up with their own names and sent me lists upon lists on them and why they sounded better than the three options I gave them.

I didn't ask for a new couple, I didn't ask for a conversation about another topic and I didn't ask why you didn't like a certain name. I asked which two names sounded best together. You give me an answer, not a fucking three-paged essay on why you don't like them, why I should change what-to-what, or why the sun's the hottest thing in the universe. Like, really?

And another example? I asked my friend H when her birthday was and what her main Tumblr blog was. It looked exactly like this: Hey, H, when's your birthday and what's your main Tumblr blog?

Her answer?

H: "this is my main twitter.. main tumblr became the advice blog and my bday is june 16th as for my blogs bday im really not sure lol "

Dude, come on. Really?

And it only pissed me off more that she replied three weeks after the question was given.

People though. Honestly.
