Ok I love socks. I have socks in a colors and designs. I'm the idiot you see at work showing off her christmas socks with the annoying bells on them. Why you may ask? Because I love my feet. Now I don't like others peoples feet, cause ick who know's where they have been ya know. But I know where my feet have been. I always paint my toe nails a very pretty color in case someone comes over and I'm wearing my flip flop slippers. Back to my socks, got side tracked there a minute. So as you can imagine for my love of socks I HATE to throw a sock away. The injustice the throw something so beautiful away, it should be illegal. My socks go through a lot too, I put them in work shoes, in my sneakers, walk out to get the mail in them. They have to deal with dirty floors, clean floors, sticky floors and who knows what else. So if they get a little hole in them, who am I to just throw it away ya know. The sock didn't do anything wrong, it was whatever was on the floor that made the hole that's in the wrong. My mom doesn't like when my socks have holes in them, she asks me why I don't just throw them away. I say because its still a good sock. I know though when she's hinting for me to get rid of the holey socks. Its when she buys me new socks, like she did not to long ago. She knew I didn't have room left in my sock draw, so she knew if I wanted these pretty new socks I'd have to get rid of my holey ones. So alas today has come the day when I did laundry and had to actually put my socks away instead of leaving them in the basket, because I want to clean my room in case of company. So I had to sort through my old socks, and seperate the good from the bad. Its really a sad situation for me. I had about 30 socks that had holes in them and I thought these need a proper burial. But then I thought maybe I should cremate them, and sprinkle their ashes somewhere special. But then Austin knocked over the lamp in the living room and I just threw them in the trash and ran to see what he was doing. They'll be ok, they're just socks after all. |
