[.75] sooo.. to 'pull the band-aid off quick"

I got laid offIllegally. Yeah. My title "so to pull the band-aid off quick" is how Jess 'worded' it to me. She pulled me to her office and pre'much told me that they were ' throwing out too many hours. " but they just hired 2 new people? And I texted Camille and told her what happened. and she said " if she kept Stefan... that's illegal" and I said "seriously? please tell me how?" and she said "you have senority since you've been working there for 8 months. and Stefan has been working there for one week he should have been let go; & you should have had your hours cut, not been laid off so I sadi "omg. what should I do?" and she said "you could sue, but I'm not sure how far or what that could do for you. But you can definitely get unemployment. So I filed for unemployment but still haven't heard anything >_> what do I do? Call them? Cus I'm not sure at all.... so, to make a long story short, I might be moving out of PA soon. if I can't find a job. But, help me? D: I'm not sure if I should call them.
