I used to update a lot at Bloop and Open Diary. I'm too old and unmotivated to do it now. I hardly ever keep in touch with the people I met on these sites. I was on the MySpace bandwagon and liked it for a while because I could type blogs, but it seems like nobody updates there anymore, either. And I loathe the malignant virus known as Facebook that consumes the lives of hundreds of millions of marketing puppets.
Bloop is OK, I guess. I was at the circles page today and am somewhat surprised that there's still a wrestling circle. I wrote that description in 2004 or 2005. Maybe there's enough of a niche of wrestling fans who would be interested. Or if not, it's still fun to look at wrestling entries I wrote years ago. I love wrestling as much as I ever have, but today there's nothing on TV that I feel like watching regularly as my soap opera. I think about what's happened in wrestling over the past couple of years, and it has its moments. But I don't blame the millions of former hardcore fans who feel disappointed or have stopped watching it entirely. I'll elaborate more on this in my next entry, which is going to be about wrestling completely. If you aren't a wrestling fan or have no interest in the topic, I wouldn't suggest reading it. But if you are, you know where to find me -- at the same SpineMelter time, same SpineMelter place, same SpineMelter circle. |
