My first update in a long, long time

It has saddened me to see Bloop so dead all these years. I'm really excited for what I hope will be a revival. New trees in the forest that burned down if you will.

So much has happened since I last updated.

I now have seven children. Three of them were adopted from foster care. Six daughters, one son. YES - I did it. I have a son. Michelle and I are doing great, but having seven children definitely comes with its challenges.

Work is going well, I have changed bosses a few times. I like the boss I currently have. We were friends before he became my boss, and I think he sees value in me. But truth be told, I do not intend to work there beyond 2022. I want my life to consist of projects that I have sole or significant control over, for example Bloop or YouTube channels.

Speaking of YouTube channels, I am working on a few. There's SCEC85 which is my gaming type channel for either gameplay or game development. There's Solar Steve which is supposed to be about renewable energy. Dad Bod Forever is another I made which has videos about weightloss (or gain lol) and also general life skills. And then of course there's the BloopDiary channel that I just started which will be used for live streaming. If you want to subscribe to any of these, please do. I have some others but they aren't significant at this point.

We are working on paying off our house. We're 21 months into a 48 month plan. By the end of the 48 months, it'll be paid off. It's very intense but I like that our money is doing something that will secure our future.

Speaking of the house, we're also in the middle of construction. A garage is being built outside and I can't wait for it to be finished since it'll have a lift.

What else? Probably so much. That's the downside about updating once every two years, you tend to miss things.

I'm going to try to update once per week now. It's part of my plan, and I actually take planning my time more seriously these days.

If you weren't aware, Mark (Mark) and Beth (Greta Garbage) are the newest staff members on Bloop and will be instrumental in bringing this site back to life. I'm really excited for this and looking forward to it.
