current desire: a refill on my coffee. but that means getting up and going to the kitchen.

My "vacation" officially ends today. Not that I had a real vacation. I still had to work in the pharm. I have to go in at 8 for a teacher work day. The kids come back to school tomorrow. I spent most of the day Saturday working on lesson plans, and I'm kind of proud of myself. I got up until February 27. I even plugged on all the science vocab words for middle school and high school into quizlet.

okay i need a coffee refill. there's a pause in the morning show for music.

I love coffee. I doubt I would be able to function in life without it. True story.

I've been awake since 5 this morning. I woke up to use the restroom and couldn't go back to sleep. I finally said screw it and got up at 6. I made coffee and took a shower. When I came back into the bedroom, Russ had already gotten up and gone to the living room. He's asleep in there now. He does that sometimes. But he has a conference call every monday morning for his work. I think it starts at 7 something.

anywho, last night, Russ and I used one of our Christmas gift cards and went to Cracker Barrel. I love Cracker Barrel. Particularly their dumplings. I LOVE dumplings.

clearly, I haven't woken up to write anything meaningful. lol

I got a lot of writing done the past couple weeks. (I WILL finish a novel one day. I WILL!) I even started a new writing project. I hope it works out.

I got up early too but not by choice. lol I started back to work today too after my vacation, though I really had a vacation. I was happy to go back though! I was getting tired of sitting at my in-laws with not a whole lot to do! I watched way too much Netflix. I did read The Perks of Being a Wallflower though, that was good.

I can't wait for the vacation! I love the beach, probably because I don't get there often. I hate the cold.

I ended up not getting to the court because it is snowing. I don't feel comfortable driving in the snow especially with the tires on my car. I called this morning but they don't let you reschedule over the phone so I have to call back at 3:30 to find out if the judge decided it is okay for me to reschedule. If not I guess I am going to have to appeal it. Ugh.

I love tea. either regular tea, Chinese tea or those amazing flavored tea mmm. Most days that's all I drink is tea in some form.

Dumplings? as in, Chinese dumpblings? like...potstickers? those are my fav food in the world. mmm

RYC: I'm glad you enjoyed my latest poem. I've been asked by a few ppl to post -re-post some of my early poems and I will, prob 3 at a time.. Thanks again, I love feedback
