Time: 7:42am

State of Being: too tired to be awake. too awake to go back to sleep

Song lyric in my head: something something into my heart..
current desire: no more stress

where am I?: in the bedroom on the bed

what's that noise?: listening to my morning show

I'm slacking!

warning: I'm a little braindead this morning so some of this may not be worded to make sense.

4. What made you start writing on Bloop where were you in your life and what has made you stay where are you now in your life?

I was in my first year of college and the first year ever living with my mom and step-dad in 2002 or 2003. I had lived with my dad my entire life, and when I graduated high school, I moved from FL to GA to finally live with my mom. TOD (Teen Open Diary) was starting to go downhill, and I really needed somewhere to write. I think a few TODers mentioned Bloop, so I came over here. Life has changed SO much since I was 18-19. (I'm 30 now) I went from am awkward teenager trying to find myself to an awkward adult.... still trying to find myself.

I haven't been consistent with my Bloop updates these past years. I skipped a year or two every so often. Bloop crashed a couple times, and I lost all my old entries. But I still love it here so much. I've met so many close friends (most of whom I lost contact with), and they saw me through some pretty rough times in my life. And some pretty awesome times as well. I think I owe my adulthood to Bloop.

5. What did you want to be when you were growing up?

In my pre-school graduation, they filmed us answering this question. I said with all the confidence in the world "I want to be a cheerleader." My dad was "(still is) a football coach. It's middle school now, but he used to coach high school. So I hung out with all the cheerleaders who babysat me and let me cheer with them at games.

I wanted to be an Olympic Gold Medalist too. In swimming or gymnastics. When I went to go visit my mom during the summer, she had a pool I used to swim in.

Cut to a few years later, I changed my ambition to a teacher. My dad (who's also a teacher) was usually coaching after school, so sometimes I would hang out in his classroom playing teacher. I used to hand out blank pages to empty desks and collect them. Write names on the board when my imaginary students were talking without raising their hand. I really wanted to be a teacher.

Cut to a few years later during my early teens to maybe 14 or 15. I decided I wanted to be a veterinarian. I even researched colleges. It was my first serious career ambition. But then I realized how many science classes I had to take. I really had to think about it, and decided against it, because I knew it wouldn't work out to well.

When I went to college, I duel majored in film and theatre for a while. I was going to become an Oscar winner (part of my still has this goal) for either acting or directing. I had to drop the film major due to the amount of work, but I wanted to be a Director. I love acting, but I found my passion in directing.

After I graduated college, real life took over. Due to my ex boyfriend's drama, i never did get a job in a theatre. I moved back to florida, got a job as a theatre technician, but had to quit because of lacking money and time. and other drama which it too much of a long story.

I decided I needed to do something with my theatre degree. And I searched my brain for so much, and I came back to the ambition of teaching. Back to the beginning. lol. I love kids so much. Always have. I love directing. So I wanted to be a theatre teacher. They teach kids acting skills, and directed school plays. So I went back to school to get my teaching certification.

Well there are very few drama teacher jobs. This is technically my second year in teaching, and I'm teaching Science and Social skills to special needs children.

6. Have you met anyone famous? If so who? If you haven't who would you love to meet in person?

oh my! I have my whole list of pictures with famous people. It's one of my favorite collections in life. Along with all my autographed items.
So let's see.

because of DragonCon, a lot of celebrities are on that list.

I've met most of the cast of Firefly. (except Nathan Fillion)
I've met Peter Mahew.
John Noble
The Phelps Twins
James Marsters
Julie Benz
Mercedes McNab

non DragonCon

a few bands/musicians:
The Drifters
Trapt
Third Day
Paramore
Vanilla Ice
Ozzy Osborn

comedians:
Doug Benson
Grahm Elwood

writer:
Kim Harrison

actor:
Erik Estrada

And the number one person on my list I would like to meet is Cary Elwes. Then next as a close second is Gary Oldman.
but I'm not picky. Bring it on celebrities!

...

caught up with NoJoMo!

I've been up since 5am. I couldn't go back to sleep, so I've been tooling around the net. Working on school stuff. I went to go grab breakfast and coffee. I'm still so sleepy now. I don't know how I'm going to get through the day. I have to teach 11-3 and work at the pharmacy from 4:30 to 9. I'm going to need more caffeine. lol

peace!

I came here from TOD, after they shut it down. I was bummed when bloop crashed and I lost so much of my life. :/ I wish I could get it back!
