State of Being: Friday! woo-hoo! My principal won't be at school today, and I don't have wal-mart today! Oh! and I'm super excited! I'm going to attempt to make clouds with my middle schoolers.
Song lyric in my head:
current desire:a creativity bug has it me again, and I really want to work on my novel. like right now. Unfortunately, I can't let abandon my teenagers today
where am I?: in the bedroom on the bed
what's that noise?: listening the the morning show. Russ is making our dog squeak/howl in the livingroom.
7. Write about a mistake you made once that you never want to make again.
This is kind of a hard one. I've made a lot of mistakes in life, but I don't believe in regret, and everything happens for a reason.
I want to say, the one mistake I made was quitting my job at the theatre. I started working as a theatre technician when I moved back to FL in 2007. My friend from highschool, Brittany worked there and got me a job. I really did love it. I got my friend, Meghan the job as well, because she found herself without a job.
I was also working at Boston Market at the time, and I got a promotion to manager. Juggling the two was kind of hard. And no one was teaching us anything in the theatre. We sat up up in the lighting booth doing absolutely nothing. (Lighting was the only thing I never really picked up during my theatre life at GSU). I wish I had taken more initiative to learn. Having Meghan with me didn't help. Although, it was fun. She's my bad influence in life to sit and complain instead of move forward and try harder.
I'm still mad at myself for quitting.
However, if I didn't quit, I wouldn't know what my present would me like now. Maybe I would have never went back to school for my teaching certificate. And who knows what I'd be doing today. I might not even be here on Bloop, because life might have gotten in the way again. I don't believe in regret at all. Everything happens for a reason.

Speaking of teaching, I gotta get up and ready. My teenagers await! It's Friday, and I have a feeling they are going to be crazy today. I'm going to attempt to make clouds with my middle schoolers. wish me luck! Because I've never done it before. It involves a bottle, rubbing, alcohol, and a cork. I don't think I can mess this up. lol.. but then again, it is me.
peace!
