So baby Merle is okay. Great heart beat 149. Ultrasound says he weighs 1 pound 5 ounces and is a little chunker. He's still not cooperating though. But we did see a genetic doctor. As soon as his ankle meets his foot, they start turning in. Within a week of him being born he will have to see an orthopedic surgeon and they will be putting casts on his legs and feet weekly. He will also eventually have shoes made that have a bar on the bottom to keep his legs and feet in the same position. I know it's fixable....but if you look up bilateral clubfoot....the pictures just really freak you out. I also have to wear a pregnancy belt to help lift him up because of him being so low and it hurts so bad after I'm up walking around at work for over an hour. My next appt they will start checking me for dilation cause they are predicting a preterm labor and told me the signs of preterm labor. I need my lil man to stay in there as long as possible, and I need him to move up some. He is positioned head on my left hip and butt close to my right hip with his legs folded up over his head or Indian style at his stomach. Prayers would be much appreciated.
