This baby.
Okay, so while at work. I have just surrounded myself with baby images. Like...starting to set up a registry. Looking at baby things. I am still set on this baby being a girl (because it is) and so I'm not really looking for boy things. BUT, on the other hand, I do think David and I have decided on a first name for a girl. Bellatrix Ivy. :) I like it. Most that we have told hate it, but that's okay, it's not their kid. It's mine. David likes names such as "Kaitlyn" or "Isabelle"....and I don't. I want something that if you hear it, you don't hear it often...EVER. Charity you usually hear in older women (not much in the younger generations). Ezra....I don't think I've ever heard anyone else with that name (I know 1 person that has it as a middle name). Darenda.....you never hear it....so I'm sticking with my roots. Bellatrix it is. If he won't allow me the first name Ivy....her middle name will be IVY. And Bellatrix will be the first name.

Okay, I'm done babbling. I'm going back to look at baby stuff!

The Baby
March 21, 2015 - First faint positive
March 29, 2015 - First visit to E.R. for cramping. Levels were 1,300 and ultrasound showed a gestational sac.
April 3, 2015 - Second visit to E.R. for fluids. Levels were 5,600 and ultrasound showed gestational sac and yolk sac.
April 8, 2015 - First ultrasound at OBGYN office to make sure baby is okay, and hopefully found out my due date. Baby is great, due Date is December 3, and the heartbeat was 140.

Yep, definitely have never heard Bellatrix for a baby name, but different is good! We want Ivy for our next girl. Great name!

I do want a boy! I just have a feeling it's a girl, plus by the old wives tales it's a girl....my symptoms and everything is telling me it's a girl. I would much rather have another little boy any day, but as long as the baby is healthy I'm happy (But I would still prefer a little prince)

Wives tales pointed towards girl for me (though I knew I was having a boy... And I ended up being right) and they were all wrong. I'd go with your gut feeling vs old wives tales.

The only old wives tales I do, is the needle and thread. Or wedding band and thread. Dip needle/ring between thumb and first finger 3 times. If it goes in a circle, it's a girl. In a line, its a boy. When it stops (after your first child), dip it again 3 times and repeat. When it stops moving that means there are no more children. Mine says girl, boy, girl. And it's always said that. My moms says boy, girl, girl. (She had a miscarriage before me with a little girl...baby died at 4 months pregnant). That's usually the only one I go by that's true. I also go by the heartbeat, and of course gut feeling. All my signs and feelings are pointing to a girl. Hoping for a boy, but I know it's not. I'll be happy as long as baby is healthy.
