The Flippin' Pyscho Who Cusses

02/09/2013

The Flippin' Psycho Who CussesSATURDAY
9th February 2013, 12.00 PM.

Hi people.

I'm such an idiot. Well, OK, maybe not, but I'm an extremely guilty person at the moment.

First, I was too negative on the party. Sure, we didn't get the chocolate brownie but I did have fun with my friends!

Second, I'm sorry about swearing to Honeybee. I read her latest entry and...well, you probably know the rest. It was really generous of her to say that she deserved it anyway and that it was kinda cool to have a swearing BFF.

Feck me.

I'm a flippin' pyscho.

Guess that's all. I'm going to comment on Honeybee's entry. Otherwise, I'd be calling myself a coward as long as I don't apologise.

Don't you just wish that cussing never existed?

I'm such a crazy cussing pyscho.

Have a nice day, everybody. .-.

Nope, personally I definitely don't wish that at all! I mean I'm sure if it wasn't there, there'd be something else, but as it is that's a very helpful stress-reliever when I'm angry, and also expressive for any very strong emotion. So, yeah, I'd be quite displeased if it weren't there.

What you could do though, since it seems to be somewhat of a little problem, is use either made-up or just random words, instead of curse words. Like how you use "feck" here. Only, a little bit further away from the word it's replacing than one letter lol.

What about "flip"? Lately, I've been saying stuff like "What the flippin' heck?!" :3

haha well personally I think it's fine, but I'm not sure I'm really the best measure, lol.

'Cuss words' are just random words that humans invented, mostly for body parts and bodily functions, and originally not offensive. Then humans decided a few hundred years later to make them taboo words, because humans love prohibiting stuff, and they also love doing prohibited stuff!

But there are always ways round saying the cuss words if saying them will get you into trouble. This will vary according to your country, I imagine. 'Flipping heck' isn't the slightest bit offensive here in the UK. I think Americans are more likely to use 'frigging' - at least from what I've observed in American books and with Americans online. Also 'blooming heck' is another one people use in the UK - 'blooming' is an alternative to 'bloody'. 'Oh sugar' is another one - gives you the naughty thrill/release of starting off saying 'Oh sh-' without the consequences of saying the whole cuss word. 'Cor blimey' (or gorblimey) is taken from 'God blind me' (a 'cuss' or curse in the true sense of the word!). If you want some hardcore cusses, then Shakespeare has a whole host of them (so you can sound literary while you're at it! ):
