Oh my God! I had a...a...
...TROJAN HORSE ALERT!
No, I'm not talking about the kind of horses you ride on, I'm talking about a virus! It so happened that I was going to my favourite fansite/clicksite for Dragon Cave the other day, Allure of Neglected Dragons, but all I got was a white page. I then proceeded to go to the DC Forums to see what was going on with the site. Apparently, they're having some problems and some of the others have gotten a Trojan Horse, which they fortunately have either blocked or removed or unfortunately are having some problems with it.
And then I get this? Apparently, AVG Security blocked the Trojan Horse and upon checking, I realised that I didn't have AVG AntiVirus 2013 (free trial) like the others on the forum had and hastily downloaded it. After running a whole computer scan, AVG AntiVirus detected nothing, no errors, no viruses, and no cookies. Whereas RegClean Pro detected 1034 errors (all minor...I think)? When I researched for some info on Trojan Horses, some website (I think it was the AVG website) claimed that Trojan Horse usually escapes scans. And then afterwards, my computer shut down due to some problems. Following a suggestion, when prompted to start the computer Normally or on Safe Mode, I chose Safe Mode (for once), but I couldn't figure out how to remove the Trojan Horse so I panicked again and restarted the computer, this time normally. I mean, it was just in case, 'cause AVG did say that it had blocked the Trojan Horse, so I wasn't sure if that meant that it had been removed or not.
Am I still vulnerable to the Trojan Horse? Even if AVG had blocked it?
