I bitched about my washing machine problem with the neighbours on FB and a friend of mine came up with a great idea. "Buy your own washing machine. Simple"
I thought about that but immediately knew that wasn't an option. There are 2 identical buildings. 8 flats.. 2 laundrys on either side. We already know we can't use the other buildings machines. I thought about this some more and to be honest, I never even considered our other laundry. I just assumed that because nobody uses it, that the machine was broken.
I was wrong..
When I went down to see if my load was finished, I opened up the door to find it completely empty! There was no machine in there at all!!! xD So, I called the owner of this building and explained the situation (and that I have unfairly been padlocking the door) and asked if it would be alright to buy my own machine to put in the empty laundry. When I told him of the 'flat downstairs' he asked which one, so I told him "Flat 1". His response? "Oh yes... there are 5 people living in that flat, 2 couples. The house is in immaculate condition. The lady you see often is forever cleaning. It's all she ever does. The cleaning and the washing ALL THE TIME. You have my permission to buy your own machine and padlock the laundry if you wish".
HAHAHAH YES! I can't believe this  I'm so happy my washing problem is OVER |
