Well, my life has been interesting lately...to me, at least.
I, of course, have been working like a dog as usual. There's nothing interesting in that statement.
One night, there were 4 girls at work total. I was the only straight girl. And no, Ryan, they aren't attractive lesbians. One of them had what Erica calls the "dike spike" (jokingly). They are all roommates as well. Two of them are dating each other. I kind of get along with April C. (she's dating someone who doesn't work at BK) but I don't know the other two very well. It was awkward to say the least. It wasn't awkward because I thought they were going to hit on me, for clarification. Haha. I'm not that vain by any means.
Just so you know, there are 2 girls named April who work with me. There is also a 2nd Robin (spelled differently than my name). Robin is interesting to say the least. She told Dustin, our coworker, that she wanted to take him home and put him in her barn. He was understandably freaked out for awhile. Haha. This is a lady in her 40's or so, I would guess.
I think I'll just share about some of my coworkers...for your amusement's sake.
Shannon--She is a tall, wide shouldered lady with somewhat of a masculine voice that "barks" at you most of the time. She is a lesbian as well as the ones mentioned above. I do not mess with Shannon. She looks like she could kick some butt if she felt like it. Haha.
Joe--He is overwhelmingly chipper/hyper some days. He definitely boosts morale at work for me. I give him a hard time all the time JUST because he has a sense of humor and I can. Haha. Him and Dustin sang random songs AT me one night just to see if they could bug me. I just chased them around with a broom. Now all I have to ask is "Do I need to get my broom?" and lift up one eyebrow. They shut up fast. Haha.
Dustin--He's the mirror image of Joe and they are roommates. He is married and has a kid but acts like a ladies' man. It's amusing. He is from Louisiana as well so he tries to play up his southern accent.
Natasha--She likes Dustin and knows he is married. They flirt all the time. I think it is humorous because I know nothing will come of it. She is also another redhead, haha.
April E.--She has worked at BK as long as me. She is completely insane, but in a good way. People call me April and her Robyn all the time. It is mainly because we both sound overwhelmingly polite and sweet on drive thru. Haha. Don't put us together up front because we play off of each other BAD. We become loopy. Haha.
April C.--She is mainly a kitchen person...and good in that spot. Heaven knows, Robyn gets cranky in kitchen after awhile (stress-induced crankiness)....so she can have that spot. Haha.
Robin (other one)--She's a character. She's kind of ornery as well. You can imagine the things she says and/or does to others. It's amusing but semi-chaotic when the both of us work together. The same goes for when both April's work the same day. There have been a few times when all 4 of us are there at the same time. Imagine that one!
Okay, I'm done...those are the interesting coworkers. The rest are relatively normal. If they work at BK long enough, they'll become as crazy as the rest of us however.
I'm off to make 10 cards for a client before tomorrow since I don't need to come into work tonight. I also have a meeting to attend at 7pm...and neighbors to sign that a card for my landlords. Talk to you later.--Your neighborhood "busy bee", Robyn |
