George hasn't gotten ahold of me yet. I think that indicates that he wasn't seriously interested to begin with. Eh, no skin off of my back. I have let him know several times that it was up to him, just so you know. He did say that I made him nervous because I am too serious. Haha, likely story. I'm serious if mud is blue. I may not joke around all the darn time or grin like an idiot on a constant basis, but I'm also not essentially serious. He can think what he wants though. I'm pretty sure he has only seen me at work and I AM more serious there than anywhere else.
So, enough about that. What have I been up to?
Well, I have been worrying about family a lot lately. My cousin Josh is the main person. If you pray, please keep him in your prayers. I'm loathe to type out the issue here but rest assured that it is very serious and needs prayer.
I have been working a lot. No big surprise there. Haha.
I helped plan/bring about a service project day at the apt. complex where I live. I attend a bible study on Monday nights. They members in the group were wanting to do a service project. Thus, I told them of several opportunities where I live and got ahold of the person in charge of my apt. complex. Becca did the actual networking among the group members and helped figure out the best date to do the project. She also addressed the group last night and all plans were finalized. We are doing it Saturday morning. That means I will have to be up much earlier than usual for me. Haha. Oh well, I will survive.
I got semi-drunk (home alone) one night. Emphasize SEMI in that sentence. I was nice and relaxed at the time. Haha. It was my way of treating myself for a very long work week (at the time). That will probably be the one time a year that I actually drink alcohol. I'm not an avid drinker, by far. Haha.
My friend Megan (Megs to those she calls friends) drove to Joplin to see everyone last weekend. I tried to get off of work last Saturday but I couldn't find anyone to cover my shift. I tried HARD to also. I didn't get to see her for very long but at least I got to see her.
I have 8 (total) Mother's Day cards to make for 3 clients now...as of last night. It was a surprise commision but still very welcome. I now have to think of ideas for all those cards. Haha.
