The real problem with this is that your MOTHER isn't taking care of the situation.
Honestly? Schedule time away from him with your mother and if your mother can't amend to get away from him and his childish ways to spend time with her daughter, then it's an issue that needs to be brought up with her.
And if she can? Great. Problem (pretty much) solved. Unfortunately some people never mature, and it might just have to be that you have to avoid your stepdad altogether instead of hoping he changes.
