I agree. Sometimes I wonder whether it would do any good to do a talk in a school or something... but I think a lot of other adults would feel sceptical incase it had the opposite effect.. and I'd feel bad if it did too.

RYC: I don't think young people who are getting some kind of 'help' from self harm are capable of imagining that their scars will still be there ten, twenty, thirty years down the line... and if anybody had shown me pictures like mine ten years ago I don't think it would have stopped me either because at the time, the price I was paying seemed to be reasonable... its only with hindsight that I see how high it really was.

That really sucks about your brother. I hope he gets things on track. as for your sister in law, if they don't keep her the upside is when he goes for another job she won't have to put it on her resume.
I have no idea about the driving laws anymore. I don't think I'll be able to pass another driving test. I'm scared of it actually lol

Top surgery -- double mastectomy. It's not covered by insurance either because the laws haven't changed to reflect that it isn't actually elective, but oh well. Lots of trans guys do it, so can I.
